Lenexa, Kan., (Nov. 28, 2022) Trust In Beef™ announced that Syngenta has joined as a partner of the collaborative value chain program helping ranchers integrate climate-smart agriculture systems into their operations while sharing their learnings and success stories.

“We are elated to welcome this world-class organization to the table as we work to empower producers and beef marketers in a rapidly changing marketplace,” said Amy Skoczlas Cole, executive vice president, Trust In Food.

Farm Journal’s Trust In Food™ is a purpose-driven division that organizes Trust In Beef in partnership with Drovers and foundational partners Merck Animal Health, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.

“Trust In Beef is completely aligned with Syngenta’s investment in American ranchers and row crop animal feed producers,” said Liz Hunt, head, sustainable and responsible business, Syngenta. “This work complements our rapidly growing portfolio, including Enogen® corn for feed, which can provide feed efficiency gains of about 5% for beef cattle, helping to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and lowering consumption of natural resources. We look forward to being part of this coalition supporting the beef value chain on its climate-smart journey.”

Syngenta also announced it will join America’s Conservation Ag Movement, one of America’s largest public-private partnerships dedicated to the acceleration of climate-smart agriculture in partnership with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service and more than a dozen other private sector organizations.
