Billy Gascoigne is the Director of Agricultural Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships for Ducks Unlimited (DU). In that role, Billy helps crosswalk DU’s on-the-ground conservation capacity with industry partners and their respective sustainability objectives. Billy leads DU’s agricultural strategic planning and coordinating efforts across North America. He is also a leading voice on environmental markets and crediting structures, having executed the first-ever carbon offset project from working grasslands in the world. He holds an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Colorado State University and grew up in a ranching family with operations in the Sacramento Valley of California. He resides in Fort Collins, CO with his wife, Amy, and young daughter, Lacey. An avid outdoorsman, Billy enjoys escaping to wild places as much as possible and spending time in the kitchen preparing unique table fare from those experiences.
