Splitter Farms

Matt was raised on the ancestral home just outside Lorraine, Kansas. In the fall of 2011, Matt and his wife, Janna, seeded their first winter wheat crop.

Matt has served on multiple boards, including; Central Prairie Co-op Board of Directors, Team Marketing Alliance Board of advisors, Rice County Extension Board as Chairman and the Kansas Corn Association Board of directors. He has served as a delegate for the National Corn Growers Corn Congress and is currently serving on the FCC’s federal advisory committee of Precision Ag Connectivity Task Force.

Matt graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Agriculture and most recently attended Texas A&M’s “The Executive Program for Agriculture Producers”, TEPAP, in 2020. He is also a graduate of the National Sorghum’s “Leadership Sorghum”, National Corn Grower’s “Leadership at its Best”, and Kansas Corn’s “Kansas Corn Corps” Leadership program.
