As Vice President, Environmental Stewardship for Dairy Management Inc., Michelle Rossman focuses on building programs to provide support for producers as they adopt best practices and technologies to reduce their environmental footprint.  Increasing awareness of financial support programs, access to technical advisors and connections with others, helps farmers choose practices that are economically viable and support the collective environmental goals of the dairy industry. These programs help to advance sustainability in a way that is economically viable, and socially and environmentally responsible while producing nutritious dairy products for global consumers.

Michelle joined DMI in May, 2021 with previous roles at National Cattlemen’s Beef Association where she led the beef safety research program.  That program brought the entire beef supply chain together to focus on research, education and outreach to advance the safety of U.S. beef products.

Michelle has a lifetime of experience in production agriculture and currently operates Rossman Farms, a diversified farming and ranching business in MN, with her husband and three sons.
