Red Hill Farms

Sarah Jones and her husband, Bart, have a 15-year-old son, Ty. Together, they own and operate Red Hill Farms, a 7th-generation family farm located in both south central Kentucky and northern middle Tennessee where they raise beef cattle, swine, sheep, and row crops to support their livestock operations. In their free time, they enjoy days at the lake and exhibiting market lambs.  

Sarah is involved in several agriculture organizations, including Kentucky and Tennessee Cattlemen’s Associations, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Kentucky and Tennessee Pork Producers Associations, as well as Kentucky Farm Bureau. Sarah was recently named the 2022 Kentucky Farm Bureau Farm Woman of the Year and is a 2022 inductee in the Kentucky 4-H Hall of Fame as an Outstanding Certified 4-H Livestock Club Leader. Sarah is Beef Quality Assurance and Pork Quality Assurance Plus certified and serves as an instructor for the Youth for Quality Care of Animals program. Additionally, the Jones family has been recognized with several awards including Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Outstanding Young Farm Family of the Year award and the American Farm Bureau’s Top 10 Achievement Award. 

She graduated from Western Kentucky University with an accounting degree and an agriculture minor and became a Certified Public Accountant.
