Dr. Robert Williams joins Trust In Food as the Sustainable Livestock Genetics Technical Manager, following a long career in the beef industry, most recently serving as Executive Director of the American Wagyu Association.  Dr. Williams directed the release of the U.S. beef industry’s first web-based customizable decision support and selection index.  His contributions further extend to serving on the Board of Directors of the Beef Improvement Federation (BIF), United States Livestock Genetics Export Association, a founding director of the Ultrasound Guidelines Council (UGC) for the seedstock beef industry, and more recently President of the US Beef Breeds Council. Wiliams has traveled to 20 foreign countries promoting US beef genetics and judged national beef breed shows in 5 foreign countries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University, both a Masters and Doctorate degree in Beef Breeding and Genetics from the University of Georgia.  Robert and his family reside in Kansas City, MO.
